Sara Stadtmiller graduated from Montclair State University
with a BFA (concentration in photography) in 2000. Sara has
been working and exhibiting in New Jersey and New York for
the past 10 years. She works in different formats including
standard 35mm, digital photography, medium and large
format, as well as pinhole photography (homemade cameras).
Ms. Stadtmiller prefers to work in series rather than a single
piece. While her objective is to convey a single narrative
throughout the series, she wants the imagery of the individual
photographs to be strong enough to stand on their own.
Although the subject matter and photographic medium of her
work varies, Sara tries to maintain consistency in mood, tone,
and print quality. Ms. Stadtmiller’s aspiration as an artist is
to carry the viewer to an enlightened space. |
