I love shooting at The Water Witch Club in Monmouth Hills! Tucked away atop a winding trail in a residential neighborhood with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the New York City skyline, it is one of my favorite wedding venues. Sandy’s family actually has a sign on the wall honoring their century long ties with the club & surrounding community. It had rained non stop the days leading up to the wedding and the forecast for that particular Saturday was pretty iffy. Luckily, the rain held off, allowing Amy & Sandy to get married on the beautiful lawn. I started my day with Amy & her girls at The Asbury Hotel. Amy looked so gorgeous and would tear up just talking about her beloved. You could plainly see they both feel very lucky to have each other, their bond was palpable and moving. Their wedding party was comprised of the people truly closest to them; in addition to a couple of Amy’s girlfriends, the rest of the party were brothers, sister-in-laws, nieces & nephews, and Sandy’s two sons. The importance of family was very evident throughout the day. I’m very happy these two found each other…and gave me the honor of documenting this significant event.  Thanks, as always, to Dave (aka Smile Hunter™) and Congrats Amy & Sandy!
