Brittany & Mike celebrated in style at The Liberty House in Jersey City. Getting ready started with the ladies at nearby condo (awesome job on hair & makeup, Casey Zipko!) and the guys began their day at The Westin. Then the whole wedding party skipped the traditional trolley or limo to the venue and instead, very efficiently took several Ubers over the Liberty House-a 1st for me! Despite the July heat, we were able to take advantage of the beautiful grounds with the Manhattan skyline as our backdrop-so unique and awesome! Brittany & Mike actually met during a kickball game so the couple requested to incorporate that into their portrait session,another 1st for me! As the sun went down, Brittany & Mike, as well as their guests, alternated dancing their butts off (thanks to Joe at Elite Entertainment) and taking advantage of the amazing view. I’m grateful my 1st wedding postpartum was with such a lovely couple and such an amazing day. Gig Morris Florist always does a phenomenal job & Carlo’s Bake Shop made a perfect wedding cake that tied into the couples NYC themed day! Special Thanks to the great photographers,David Appel & Jennifer Rutherford. Not only was was Dave there and awesome, all day, as usual, but Jen came in and relieved me to go be with my newborn during the reception. The talent they bring is remarkable and so appreciated!!
